The Hargrave Military Academy Tigers routed the visiting Covenant Eagles basketball team by a final score of 72-46 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) in a Virginia Independent game, on Saturday, February 19. Hargrave Military Academy will attempt to move on its 11-11 season record. The Barons enter the game with a 23-5 record after their 91-51 league win over Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA).

With the defeat, Covenant moves to 4-12 on the year. The Eagles travel to Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA) to face the Caissons in a Virginia Independent game on Saturday, February 19.
