Minnesota High School Basketball - Lake City crushes Lewiston-Altura
February 17, 2022: Lake City, MN 55041 Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN), 79-55 in a league bout.
With the win, Lake City upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN) to clash with the Bulldogs in a AA Section 1 bout on Saturday, February 19. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 21-1. Plainview-Elgin-Millville won 60-56 in their recent league bout against Chatfield (Chatfield, MN)
Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Dover-Eyota Eagles (Eyota, MN) in a AA Section 1 bout, on Friday, February 18. Lewiston-Altura will attempt to upgrade on its 17-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-18 record after their 66-36 league loss to Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN).
