Maryland High School Basketball - Wise overwhelms High Point
February 17, 2022: Beltsville, MD 20705 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD) and the host High Point Eagles (Beltsville, MD), saw Wise's basketball squad wallop High Point by a tally of 56-4.
With the victory, Wise improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Pumas travel to Suitland (Forestville, MD) to confront the Rams in a Prince George's County 4A challenge on Saturday, February 19. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 12-3.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Parkdale Panthers (Riverdale, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A challenge, on Friday, February 18. High Point will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 66-35 non-league loss to National Christian Academy (Fort Washington, MD).
