In Thursday's league match, the host Zimmerman Thunder basketball team scored a tight 71-65 triumph over the Monticello Magic.

In their next game, the Thunder meet the Foley Falcons (Foley, MN) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 18. Zimmerman will attempt to better on its 11-8 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 16-6 record after their 54-43 league loss to Albany (Albany, MN).
