Georgia High School Soccer - Jeff Davis knocks off Bleckley County
February 17, 2022: Cochran, GA 31014 Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Yellowjackets face the Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 18. Jeff Davis will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Toombs County (Lyons, GA).
The Royals now have a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lamar County for a AA Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 22. Bleckley County will face a Trojans team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-3.
