Servite Friars (Anaheim, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA), 12-8 in a non-league battle.

The Friars now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Yorba Linda for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 22. Servite will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.

In their next game, the Sailors clash with the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, February 19. Newport Harbor will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Centurions come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 15-2 league win over Hart (Newhall, CA).
