The Oxford Academy Patriots softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Bolsa Grande Matadors to 5 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Oxford Academy moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Patriots host Saddleback (Santa Ana, CA) to clash with the Roadrunners in a non-league game on Friday, February 18.
