Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bearcats now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Krum for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 24. Whitesboro will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Italy (Italy, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-0.
