Kentucky High School Basketball - Covington Catholic crushes Madison Central
February 17, 2023: Park Hills, KY 41011 Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY), 74-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Covington Catholic upgrades its record to 24-4 on the season. The Colonels host Holmes (Covington, KY) to clash with the Bulldogs in a District 35 bout on Wednesday, February 22. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-18.
Next up, the Indians clash with the Model Patriots (Richmond, KY) in a District 44 bout, on Monday, February 20. Madison Central will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 13-16 record after their 67-59 non-league win over Powell County (Stanton, KY).
