Indiana High School Basketball - Decatur Central crushes Perry Meridian

February 17, 2023: Indianapolis, IN 46221

Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Perry Meridian Falcons (Indianapolis, IN), 69-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Decatur Central upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Hawks host University (Carmel, IN) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Trailblazers come into the bout with a record of 18-1. University won 71-67 in their recent non-league bout against Westfield (Westfield, IN)

Next up, the Falcons play the Franklin Central Flashes (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 23. Perry Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Flashes come into the bout with a 2-18 record after their 52-44 non-league win over Roncalli (Indianapolis, IN).
