Upsala Cardinals (Upsala, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting East Central Eagles (Sandstone, MN), 62-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Upsala upgrades its record to 6-16 on the season. The Cardinals host Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] (Isle, MN) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 2-14. Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] lost 60-29 in their recent league bout against Braham (Braham, MN)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Ogilvie Lions (Ogilvie, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 23. East Central will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record.
