February 17, 2023: Herreid, SD 57632 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) and the host Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD), saw Leola/Frederick's basketball squad hold off Herreid/Selby by a tally of 47-46.
With the victory, Leola/Frederick improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Titans host Ipswich (Ipswich, SD) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Ipswich lost 67-59 in their recent league challenge against Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots (Hitchcock, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 18. Herreid/Selby will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 69-43 non-league loss to Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD).
