Minnesota High School Basketball - Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton tops Sibley East
February 17, 2023: Janesville, MN 56048 Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs (Janesville, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN), 75-59 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton upgrades its record to 10-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Cleveland (Cleveland, MN) to play the Clippers in a A Section 2 bout on Monday, February 20. The Clippers come into the game with a record of 1-21. Cleveland lost 85-33 in their recent non-league game against New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN)
With the defeat, Sibley East moves to 5-20 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Central (Norwood-Young America, MN) to face the Raiders in a AA Section 2 game on Tuesday, February 21. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 20-3. Central won 84-79 in their recent league game against Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN)
