Texas High School Basketball - Reagan County holds off Jayton
February 17, 2023: Jayton, TX 79528 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Reagan County Owls (Big Lake, TX) and the host Jayton Jaybirds (Jayton, TX), saw Reagan County's basketball squad hold off Jayton by a tally of 47-42.
With the victory, Reagan County improves its record to 27-9 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Roscoe (Roscoe, TX) to confront the Plowboys in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 20. The Plowboys come into the challenge with a record of 8-19. Roscoe lost 70-41 in their recent league challenge against Miles (Miles, TX)
Next up, the Jaybirds confront the Crosbyton Chiefs (Crosbyton, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Jayton will attempt to improve on its 24-2 season record.
