Oregon High School Basketball - Mountainside edges Southridge
February 17, 2023: Beaverton, OR 97007 The Mountainside Mavericks (Beaverton, OR) basketball nipped the visiting Southridge Skyhawks (Beaverton, OR), 60-56 in Friday's league test.
The Mavericks (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Aloha (Beaverton, OR). The Warriors go into the 6A Metro test with a 2-20 record. In their last test, Aloha was tipped by Jesuit (Portland, OR), 95-16, in a league test.
The Skyhawks now own a 17-6 record. They play next when they host Mountain View for a 5A Intermountain test on Friday, February 17. Southridge will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 65-58 league win over Bend (Bend, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 19-8.
