Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN) and the visiting Tecumseh Braves (Lynnville, IN), saw Mt. Vernon's basketball squad overcome Tecumseh by a tally of 65-54.

With the victory, Mt. Vernon improves its record to 9-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Princeton (Princeton, IN) to play the Tigers in a Pocket challenge on Saturday, February 18. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Princeton won 64-47 in their recent league challenge against Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN)

Next up, the Braves play the Perry Central Commodores (Leopold, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 18. Tecumseh will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Commodores come into the challenge with a 6-15 record after their 37-34 league loss to Paoli (Paoli, IN).
