The Rowan County Vikings basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Boyd County Lions to 68 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 22-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bath County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Rowan County will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 73-55 non-league win over Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-12.
