February 17, 2023: St. Paul, MN 55116 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN) and the host Highland Park Scots (St. Paul, MN), saw Minneapolis Southwest's basketball squad wallop Highland Park by a tally of 73-31.
With the victory, Minneapolis Southwest improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN) to confront the Teddies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Teddies come into the challenge with a record of 20-2. Roosevelt won 76-29 in their recent league challenge against Edison (Minneapolis, MN)
Next up, the Scots confront the Humboldt Hawks (St. Paul, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Highland Park will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record.
