February 17, 2023: Birmingham, MI 48009 The Roeper Roughriders routed the visiting Lutheran Northwest Crusaders basketball team by a final score of 45-21 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Roughriders face the Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy Sentinels (Brighton, MI) in a Michigan Independent - Red game, on Tuesday, February 21. Roeper will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Sentinels enter the game with a 7-10 record after their 35-21 league win over Parkway Christian (Sterling Heights, MI).
With the defeat, Lutheran Northwest moves to 11-9 on the year. The Crusaders host Inter-City Baptist (Allen Park, MI) to face the Chargers in a Michigan Independent - Blue game on Tuesday, February 21. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 10-6.
