February 17, 2023: Trussville, AL 35173 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL) and the visiting LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA), saw Hewitt-Trussville's soccer squad knock off LaGrange by a count of 4-1.
The Huskies now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Montgomery Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, February 18. Hewitt-Trussville will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, LaGrange drops to 1-4 on the season. The Grangers travel to Hoover (Hoover, AL) to meet the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Saturday, February 18. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Hoover won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against White County (Cleveland, GA)
