Elkhart Wildcats (Elkhart, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Southwestern Heights Mustangs (Kismet, KS), 60-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Elkhart upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Meade (Meade, KS) to clash with the Buffaloes in a bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 11-4.
