Texas High School Softball - Canyon bounces Boerne
February 17, 2023: New Braunfels, TX 78130 Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Medina Valley for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. Canyon will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over La Vernia (La Vernia, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Boerne falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 18. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 5-0. Dripping Springs won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Allen (Allen, TX)
