Texas High School Softball - Cooper bounces Borger
February 17, 2023: Lubbock, TX 79423 Cooper Pirates (Lubbock, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Borger Bulldogs (Borger, TX), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Dorado for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 18. Cooper will face a Aztecs squad coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Lubbock (Lubbock, TX). The Aztecs record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Borger falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Coronado (Lubbock, TX) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 18. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Coronado won 8-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Ysleta (El Paso, TX)
