Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Grapevine Faith Christian Lions (Grapevine, TX), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bearcats now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lebanon Trail for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. Pilot Point will battle a Trail Blazers squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Grapevine Faith Christian falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX) to battle the Trail Blazers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 18.
