Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Leopards now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montwood for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. Lovejoy will face a Rams squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Klein Cain (Houston, TX). The Rams record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, San Marcos falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Rattlers travel to Eastlake (El Paso, TX) to face the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 18.
