February 17, 2024: Burns, OR 97720 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Burns Hilanders (Burns, OR) and the visiting Umatilla Vikings (Umatilla, OR), saw Burns's basketball squad overcome Umatilla by a tally of 64-53.
With the victory, Burns improves its record to 17-10 on the campaign. The Hilanders host Coquille (Coquille, OR) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 12-14. Coquille won 40-39 in their recent league challenge against North Valley (Grants Pass, OR)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Harrisburg Eagles (Harrisburg, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 23. Umatilla will attempt to improve on its 16-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 20-5 record after their 38-32 league win over Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, OR).
