Oregon High School Basketball - Crook County overwhelms Cascade
February 17, 2024: Prineville, OR 97754 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Crook County Cowboys (Prineville, OR) and the visiting Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR), saw Crook County's basketball squad wallop Cascade by a tally of 76-54.
With the victory, Crook County improves its record to 16-7 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Madras (Madras, OR) to confront the White Buffaloes in a 4A Tri-Valley challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The White Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 16-5. Madras won 56-52 in their recent league challenge against Molalla (Molalla, OR)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Philomath Warriors (Philomath, OR) in a 4A Oregon West challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Cascade will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 17-5 record after their 49-27 league win over Stayton (Stayton, OR).
