Minnesota High School Basketball - Duluth East holds off Mound-Westonka
February 17, 2024: Duluth, MN 55804 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN) and the visiting Mound-Westonka White Hawks (Mound, MN), saw Duluth East's basketball squad hold off Mound-Westonka by a tally of 58-56.
With the victory, Duluth East improves its record to 7-14 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Cloquet (Cloquet, MN) to confront the Lumberjacks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a record of 14-12. Cloquet lost 87-79 in their recent non-league challenge against Moose Lake/Willow River (Moose Lake, MN)
Next up, the White Hawks confront the Hutchinson Tigers (Hutchinson, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Mound-Westonka will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 15-8 record after their 87-51 non-league loss to Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN).
