February 17, 2024: Fitchburg, MA 01420 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lunenburg Blue Knights (Lunenburg, MA) and the host Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA), saw Lunenburg's basketball squad hold off Fitchburg by a tally of 46-43.
With the victory, Lunenburg improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Blue Knights host St. Paul (Worcester, MA) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 19. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 8-9.
Next up, the Red Raiders confront the Doherty Memorial Highlanders (Worcester, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 19. Fitchburg will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 66-51 non-league win over Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA).
