Minnesota High School Basketball - Redwood Valley holds off Maple River
February 17, 2024: Redwood Falls, MN 56283 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Redwood Valley Cardinals (Redwood Falls, MN) and the visiting Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN), saw Redwood Valley's basketball squad hold off Maple River by a tally of 88-85.
With the victory, Redwood Valley improves its record to 20-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Springfield (Springfield, MN) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 17-6.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers (Waterville, MN) in a AA Section 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Maple River will attempt to improve on its 20-24 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 12-11 record after their 84-52 league loss to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN).
