February 17, 2024: Storm Lake, IA 50588 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Storm Lake Tornadoes (Storm Lake, IA), by a count of 72-47.
The Crusaders (21-1) will now prepare for their outing against Winterset (Winterset, IA). The Huskies go into the non-league outing with a 12-11 record. In their last outing, Winterset smashed Glenwood (Glenwood, IA), 38-35, in a non-league outing.
The Tornadoes now hold a 14-8 record. They play next when they travel to Spencer for a Lakes outing on Wednesday, May 1. Storm Lake will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 64-39 non-league loss to Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-20.
