Minnesota High School Basketball - Hancock holds off Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart
February 17, 2024: Hector, MN 55342 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hancock Owls (Hancock, MN) and the host Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN), saw Hancock's basketball squad hold off Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart by a tally of 75-72.
With the victory, Hancock improves its record to 23-2 on the campaign. The Owls host West Central Area (Barrett, MN) to confront the Knights in a A Section 6 challenge on Thursday, February 22. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 16-10. West Central Area lost 64-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons (Grove City, MN) in a A Section 2 challenge, on Monday, February 19. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will attempt to improve on its 21-4 season record.
