February 17, 2024: Georgetown, TX 78626 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) and the visiting Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX), saw Georgetown's softball squad nip Johnson by a count of 5-1.
The Eagles now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Friendswood for a non-league match on Saturday, February 17. Georgetown will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Deer Park (Deer Park, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Johnson falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Argyle (Argyle, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, February 17. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 2-2. Argyle lost 7-4 in their recent non-league match against Episcopal (Bellaire, TX)
