Texas High School Softball - Sulphur Springs nudges Lone Oak
February 17, 2024: Lone Oak, TX 75453 Sulphur Springs Wildcats (Sulphur Springs, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23.
With the loss, Lone Oak falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Mount Vernon lost 12-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Texas (Texarkana, TX)
