Texas High School Softball - Westlake tipped by Smithson Valley
February 17, 2024: Spring Branch, TX 78070 The Smithson Valley Rangers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Westlake Chaparrals to 8 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Smithson Valley moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Rangers host Georgetown (Georgetown, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, February 19. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 5-3. Georgetown won 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Friendswood (Friendswood, TX)
In their next game, the Chaparrals clash with the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws (Jourdanton, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 17. Westlake will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Indians/Squaws come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX).
