February 17, 2025: Ariton, AL 36311 The Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL) baseball trounced the visiting Dale County Warriors (Midland City, AL), 11-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Purple Cats now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Zion Chapel for a 2A Area 3 challenge on Thursday, February 20. Ariton will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Headland (Headland, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Dale County drops to 1-1 on the year. The Warriors host Geneva County (Hartford, AL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 20. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Geneva County won 14-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Kinston (Kinston, AL)
