Georgia High School Baseball - McIntosh County Academy loses to Long County
February 17, 2025: Ludowici, GA 31316 Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), 11-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Long County advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Blue Tide host Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 2-2. Tattnall County won 20-5 in their recent non-league match against Claxton (Claxton, GA)
The Buccaneers now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradwell Institute for a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. McIntosh County Academy will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Jenkins (Savannah, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
