The Grand Island Vikings basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Orchard Park Quakers to 66 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.

The Vikings now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Niagara Falls for a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier game on Monday, February 24. Grand Island will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 61-47 non-league win over Cardinal O'Hara (Tonawanda, NY). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Orchard Park falls to 16-4 on the campaign.
