Illinois High School Basketball - DeKalb toppled by Lake Park
February 17, 2025: DeKalb, IL 60115 Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL), 54-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lake Park upgrades its record to 19-12 on the year. The Lancers travel to St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL) to face the Fighting Saints in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Fighting Saints enter the match with a record of 25-6. St. Charles East won 73-21 in their recent non-league match against Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL)
The Barbs now sport a 20-11 record.
