February 17, 2025: Louisville, KY 40243 Eastern Eagles (Louisville, KY) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Shawnee Golden Eagles (Louisville, KY), 74-64 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Eastern advances its record to 5-17 on the year. The Eagles host Oldham County (Buckner, KY) to face the Colonels in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Colonels enter the match with a record of 9-15. Oldham County lost 52-50 in their recent non-league match against Carroll County (Carrollton, KY)
The Golden Eagles now own a 6-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waggener for a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. Shawnee will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 37-34 non-league loss to Brown (Louisville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-8.
