February 17, 2025: Flemingsburg, KY 41041 The Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) basketball edged the host Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY), 58-54 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Bluejackets now possess a 15-10 record. They play next when they host Bourbon County for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 19. Nicholas County will play a Colonels team coming off a 50-47 non-league win over Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 13-14.
With the loss, Fleming County falls to 6-17 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bracken County (Brooksville, KY) to play the Polar Bears in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 20. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 18-10. Bracken County won 44-40 in their recent non-league bout against Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY)
