February 17, 2025: Towson, MD 21286 Towson Generals (Towson, MD) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Sparrows Point Pointers (Baltimore, MD), 48-37 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Towson upgrades its record to 11-6 on the year.
The Pointers now sport a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lansdowne for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 19. Sparrows Point will face a Vikings squad coming off a 49-33 non-league loss to Hereford (Parkton, MD). The Vikings record now stands at 0-9.
