The Dixie Hornets basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans to 47 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now possess a 19-7 record. They play next when they travel to Horse Creek Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, February 21. Dixie will confront a Stallions squad coming off a 64-50 non-league win over Lee Central (Bishopville, SC). The Stallions record now stands at 22-4.
