Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) and the visiting Northwest Vikings (Grand Island, NE), witnessed Gretna's basketball squad prevail over Northwest by a count of 48-33.

The Dragons (13-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Gretna East (Gretna, NE). The Griffins come into the B District 3 challenge with a 17-5 record. In their last challenge, Gretna East defeated Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE), 56-43, in a non-league challenge.
