In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Wimberley Texans softball team scored a nice 18-8 victory over the Bastrop Bears.

The Texans (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Aubrey (Aubrey, TX). The Chaparrals go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Aubrey was routed by Azle (Azle, TX), 13-3, in a non-league match.

Next up, the Bears play the Little River Academy Bumblebees (Little River Academy, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 19. Bastrop will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Bumblebees enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Lorena (Lorena, TX).
