February 18, 2022: Chamberlain, SD 57325 In Friday's non-league outing, the West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Chamberlain Cubs (Chamberlain, SD), by a count of 62-38.
The Trojans (14-4) will now prepare for their outing against McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD). The Fighting Cougars go into the A Region 3 outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, McCook Central/Montrose smashed Tri-Valley (Colton, SD), 57-52, in a league outing.
The Cubs now hold a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hanson for a non-league outing on Monday, February 21. Chamberlain will clash with a Beavers squad coming off a 55-46 non-league win over Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD). The Beavers record now stands at 13-5.
