Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT) and the host Peoples Academy Wolves (Morrisville, VT), saw Montpelier's basketball squad wallop Peoples Academy by a tally of 79-43.

With the victory, Montpelier improves its record to 17-1 on the campaign. The Solons travel to Thetford Academy (Thetford, VT) to confront the Panthers in a Capital challenge on Monday, February 21. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-15.

Next up, the Wolves confront the Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT) in a Capital challenge, on Friday, February 25. Peoples Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record.
