The Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) basketball nipped the visiting Pineville Mountain Lions (Pineville, KY), 64-59 in Friday's non-league test.

The Colonels (13-15) will now prepare for their test against Corbin (Corbin, KY). The Redhounds go into the non-league test with a 21-7 record. In their last test, Corbin was tipped by North Laurel (London, KY), 83-77, in a non-league test.
