February 18, 2022: Lytle, TX 78052 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the La Vernia Bears (La Vernia, TX) and the host Lytle Pirates (Lytle, TX), saw La Vernia's softball squad nip Lytle by a count of 6-4.
The Bears now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charlotte for a non-league match on Saturday, February 19. La Vernia will face a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Somerset (Somerset, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Lytle falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to St. Anthony (San Antonio, TX) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Saturday, February 19. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 0-2.
