Texas High School Basketball - Silverton tops Booker
February 18, 2023: Booker, TX 79005 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Silverton Owls (Silverton, TX) and the host Booker Kiowas (Booker, TX), saw Silverton's basketball squad knock off Booker by a tally of 50-33.
With the victory, Silverton improves its record to 18-9 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Fort Elliott (Briscoe, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 20. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Fort Elliott lost 65-49 in their recent league challenge against McLean (McLean, TX)
Next up, the Kiowas play the Wellington Skyrockets (Wellington, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 20. Booker will attempt to improve on its 15-13 season record. The Skyrockets come into the challenge with a 21-4 record after their 74-19 league win over Memphis (Memphis, TX).
